ITS A BUSINESS
Think about it. What does every successful business person have in common?
- They work hard
- They put in their time
- They got the word out
- Spent something… time or money or both
So if the successful people act that we then I must do the same, as well as anyone who wants to success in ANY business.
Many people try and fail at a work at home business because they are not organized. Set time aside on a regular basis (weekly or even daily), set goals (step by step), but make them repeatable goals because in business if you can’t get the second sale basically the same way you got the first sale then you will be out of business fast. I
What do you believe in? People you talk to can tell. If you can’t believe in what you are doing, what you are saying, and what you are selling, then rising to the top just became 1000% harder. What’s great about the reputable Essential Oil company I work with is they make it easy to have strong beliefs. I’m using the products and I believe in what they do. Talk to me and I’ll introduce the products, the company, and help you start on your beliefs.
Unless we are already a billionaire who engages in helping others with their vast resources, we all need to pay the bills. If we cannot become profitable very quickly then we are dragging down our personal or family resources and many say good bye to a promising opportunity because they did not reach profitability. Like you, my goal is to be financially independent. But like you, I started at the bottom and have slowly built my business to be profitable.
The last tidbit I’m going to give away on this page is the importance in selecting your model. I’m not talking about the compensation model of the company (which is very important) but YOUR business model. There are many ways to approach a network marketing opportunity with essential oils. Web, trade shows, print media, person to person, classroom environments, and more. But what is YOUR style. Pick what you are comfortable with to start. MASTER IT! Then learn about another one and keep going.
WRAPPING THIS UP
If you treat your business like something of value. If you enjoy what you are doing. If you have a repeatable model. If you have reputable products. And if you can work well with people then you can build a business. Set your goals. 1,000 a month? 10,000 a month? 100,000 a month? Sure, why not. I’m sure when the first McDonald’s restaurant opened up they had many of the same concerns that you do right now. But McDonald’s followed the principles of business and built a chain that is reported to make $27 billion a year (that’s 72 million a day). They are a vast chain, we are self empowered entrepreneur, our slice will not hit 72 million a day, but what we can do is change our future, one day at a time.
